Welcome back to school after a long and restful holiday. With a warm welcome we are

Concert in germany:
Our entire High School Choir and drumming group has been invited to go to Germany
by one of our sponsers in June for about 2 weeks – they will perform in Berlin, Künzelsau
and Stuttgart. Ms Marion Würth who is sponsoring this trip intends to also spoil the
learners with wonderful outings and various acitivities. Dear Parents, we are extremly
grateful for this opportunity and will keep you updated on how the organisation and
rehearsing will happen.

Our exhibition “focus on man“ on tour in germany:
“Focus on Man – 150th Birthday of Rudolf Steiner”
6th Station: 4.1.-4.2.2012 > Freie Waldorfschule Märkisches Viertel, Berlin
This year we focus on the 150th birthday of Rudolf Steiner (born on 27.02.1861), the founder of Anthroposophy and of the first Waldorf School in 1919 in Stuttgart. For this occasion we organized an exhibition in the Goethe Centre, displaying 15 informative posters (English/German), which ran from its inauguration on 21 February until closing on 16 March with the film: "Zwischen Himmel und Erde" (Between Heaven and Earth). Our exhibition is now touring through Germany since 2nd of May 2011, for almost a year. The first place of the exhibition in Germany is our partnerschool Waldorfschool Berlin-Südost. > Pictures of the opening at the Goethe Centre
