Primary School

Great care is taken to make sure that teaching is as concrete, practical and experiential as possible, so that learning about the world is also a personal experience. The main subjects – reading, writing, arithmetic; form-drawing, nature study and cultural knowledge are taught in blocks. Music, languages, needlework, eurhythmy and sport complement the main lesson blocks. Painting, eurhythmy, crafting and gardening appear in the curriculum at age-appropriate times. Drama is also an integral part of school life. The aim of Waldorf education is to develop and support the learners’ individual abilities.

German and English on a daily basis, Nama/Oshindonga from grade 1 and Afrikaans from grade 5 onwards. This adds to the school‘s unique curriculum.
